<At Tokyo Racecourse>

Weather: Fine   Going: Standard (dirt course), Firm (turf course)

Sarah Lynx

Sarah Lynx (IRE, F4, bay)

- walked 1/4 lap, jogged 1/4 lap, walked (5 min.), cantered from 1,400m point, galloped from 600m point, on turf course
(3F before goal post - 2F: 13.6 – 12.2)
(exercised from 8:00 AM to 8:17 AM, ridden by Kate Bradley)

"I think her work went very fine—she's 412 kg and is a very light filly, she did good work in France before she came here, so it was really more just to get the feel of the track this morning. I thought she worked fine and moved okay. I think it's more important to have her mentally feeling good. She probably might jog and do a slow canter tomorrow. Nine is a good draw and Soumillon has experience of riding here, so we'll just see how the race develops. We're under no illusion that she doesn't have a first chance, if she runs into a place we'd be very pleased.

Shareta

Shareta (IRE, F3, bay)

- jogged 1/2 lap, cantered lightly 1/2 lap, walked 1/2 lap, cantered 1/2 lap, walked 1/4 lap, on dirt course, walked in exercise arena
(7F: 101.9 – 88.4 – 74.8 – 60.8 – 46.3 – 14.7)
(exercised from 8:01 AM to 8:33 AM, ridden by Jeremy Lobel)

"(Regarding the draw 14) we can't choose a different stall, but she can race from any position, and I'm hoping that she stays in the leading group and can accelerate in the final run."

"We did a fast canter this morning as planned. She's getting the field of the track and I'm happy with her and how she moved. She's almost in the same condition as she was before the Arc. She's eating well and she's put back on some weight. We're planning a slow gallop for her tomorrow."

Danedream

Danedream (GER, F3, bay)

- jogged 1/2 lap, cantered 3/4 lap, walked 1/4 lap, on dirt course
(exercised from 8:01 AM to 8:17 AM, ridden by Cynthia Atasoy)

"She was very relaxed this morning. After her journey to Japan, she lost a bit of weight, but she's regained it now. She has an enormous appetite. I think she's able to maintain her form because she's such a good traveler. I was hoping for a more inner draw, but I hope she can be positioned well. She'll probably do a slow gallop for about 1,200m tomorrow morning."

Mission Approved

Mission Approved (USA, H7, bay)

- jogged 3/4 lap right-handed, lightly cantered 1/2 lap left-handed, cantered 1/2 lap, walked 1/4 lap, on turf course
(3F: 47.0 – 14.0)
(exercised from 7:15 AM to 7:35 AM, ridden by Naipaul Chatterpaul)

"Regarding the draw (11), a more inner stall like eight or seven would have been better, but you can't always get what you want, and I'm happy. Tomorrow, he won't do anything special, just hike around because he's ready for the race."
