Ohi-trained horses dominate Top 3 in Interaction Cup

Ohi Racecourse of the National Association of Racing (NAR) hosted the Interaction Cup, second of a two-race event between the NAR and Korea Racing Authority (KRA), on Nov. 15, and fifth-favorite Gaudy, an 8-year-old horse by Precious Cafe trained at Ohi, beat heavy favorite Looks That Kill, another Ohi-based horse, at the wire by a head to claim the 1,200 meter race. Ninth pick La Vie en Claire, also trained at Ohi, finished a distance third, six lengths off Looks That Kill.

The race had three Korean challengers travel to Ohi - Bichui Wangja, Ubaki and Oreuse – but Oreuse was scratched earlier on race day. Bichui Wangja, 6-year-old horse ridden by Dorde Perovic, and Ubaki, a 6-year-old gelding ridden by Japan's Makoto Okabe, finished 12th and 14th, respectively.
