COVID-19 News Update: Reopening of Niigata Racecourse from Aug. 15 through Sept. 6 Suspended

Previously, on Thurs., July 30, the Japan Racing Association announced that Niigata Racecourse would reopen to the public for the period of Sat., Aug. 15 through Sun., Sept. 6. However, due to the recent pronounced spread of infection of coronavirus nationwide, the reopening of the racecourse has been suspended and we decided to keep the racing behind closed doors.

As this suspension comes after a reopening was already announced, we apologize for the great inconvenience caused to our customers who had already reserved or purchased reserved seats. We also apologize for the concerns this may have caused to customers of JRA racing.

Customers who have already purchased reserved seats should kindly refer to the Niigata Race Meeting (from Aug. 15 through Sept. 6) online seat reservation guide for information on refunds
