SCENIC BLAST (AUS, 5g, bay)

- hand-walked and schooled: stables ~ underground passage way ~ dirt course ~ paddock ~ saddling area ~ stables

"We just walked all the way to the track and back today (including paddock and saddling area). Normally we would work today (the day before the race), but we could only use the sand track and it's heavier than what he's used to. It's the day before the race and I didn't want to go with him into a heavy sand track.
I reckon his best weight is 540 kg's and he'd be pretty close to that on race day.
I never like racing when it's raining on the day. I walked the track yesterday and after all that rain it was still pretty good I thought, but two days like this (good weather) will probably dry it out again. I don't like a soft ground but just the sting out of it would be nice."
