2010 JAPAN AUTUMN INTERNATIONAL
The Japan Autumn International for 2010 is now entering its third year since inception. It will again feature top-class international Grade 1 races over different distances and conditions, to include the world's richest turf race. This is of course, the renowned and oldest international invitational race, the JAPAN CUP. This year's cup will have a total value of over US$ 5 million!
The Japan Autumn International will include consecutive weeks of top-tier Grade 1 races, beginning with the Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup (F&M, 2,200m turf) at Kyoto Racecourse, followed by the Mile Championship (1,600m turf) also held at Kyoto. The third race of the series will be the JAPAN CUP (2,400m turf) at the famous Tokyo Racecourse, where the World Super Jockeys Series will be held over the Japan Cup weekend. The series will culminate with the Japan Cup Dirt (1,800m dirt) at Hanshin Racecourse.
The Japan Autumn International consists of the highest quality racing of JRA's autumn season. We believe it to be one of the major international series of events on the global racing calendar.
