Grand Glory (GB, M5, Bay)

- after exercising in trot ring, cantered 2,000m (about 33-40 seconds per furlong; from the second lap, about 25 seconds per furlong), walked 500m on dirt course
(exercised from 6:30 to 6:55)

“She is eating as usual now and seems to be well recovered from the fatigue. Today, I trained her going right handed (clockwise) - wanted to give her a different scenery and to balance out her muscles. It was an ideal training and we may mix the right- and left-handed canters from now. I am looking forward to the Japan Cup, where I am certain she will run the race of her career.”

Broome (IRE, H5, Bay)

- after exercising in trot ring, cantered 1,400m (about 20-30 seconds per furlong), walked 1,400m, cantered 1,400m (about 18-22 seconds per furlong) on dirt course, walked back to stable.

“Both horses (Broome and Japan) have good appetite and continue to look well condition-wise. Today’s training went as planned – they both have been well since they’ve arrived here and we’ve been able to train them just as we had planned. We will continue to work hard so that they can the best results in the Japan Cup.”
