<At Tokyo Racecourse>

Weather: Fine
Going: Good (dirt course)

Grand Glory (GB, M6, bay)

- walked 1/4 lap, cantered 3/4 lap, walked 1/2 lap right-handed, gate test, walked 1/2 lap left-handed on dirt course
(exercised from 7:09 to 7:36, ridden by Anais Dumont)

“This morning, she did a light canter and then cleared the gate test. Compared to how she was before the Arc, her condition is just as well. Her strong work is scheduled for tomorrow—gallop from the backstretch into the straight.”

Onesto (IRE, C3, chestnut)

- jogged 1/4 lap, cantered 1/4 lap right-handed, cantered 3/4 lap, walked 1/4 lap left-handed, gate test, cantered 3/4 lap left-handed on dirt course
(exercised from 6:32 to 6:55, ridden by Gregory Defrel)

“We cleared the gate test smoothly this morning, just as we always do back home. The colt is eating well so he should regain the weight he lost during the trip in time for the race. He’s looking very good and I’m happy with his condition. Tomorrow’s training will be light—we plan it to be more like yesterday—and we might take him out on the turf on Friday.”

Simca Mille (IRE, C3, chestnut)

- jogged 1/4 lap, cantered 1/4 lap right-handed, gate test, jogged 1/4 lap, walked 1/4 lap left-handed on dirt course
(exercised from 6:32 to 7:03, ridden by Amandine Fantin)

“After a jog and a canter, he went through the gate test this morning in which he was calm and had no problem. His weight hasn’t changed much and he is maintaining his good form. We will ask him to do a little bit more every day but whether he gallops on Thursday is for the trainer to decide. As for tomorrow, after confirming with our trainer, he will do a faster canter.”

Tunnes (GER, C3, chestnut)

- cantered 1-1/4 laps left-handed, walked 1/4 lap, jogged 1/2 lap right-handed, gate test, walked 1 lap left-handed on dirt course
(exercised from 8:50 to 9:17, ridden by Matej Rigo)

“It was our second day today to go out on the course and after a jog and canter, he went through the gate test without any issues. His condition is good. He lost some weight but now, he is eating everything we give him. The trainer will be here tomorrow morning and he will decide on tomorrow’s training menu then.”
