“It was the first time I saw the horse since he left France and although he seems to have lost a bit of weight due to the long-distanced transportation, he is in good condition.
He looked to be a bit stressed out on the dirt track for the first time this morning but his movements were very good.
We have already tuned him up for this race back home so we won’t be doing any strong work this week—just some light training to get him fit. Our jockey will not be riding the horse before the race.
Tomorrow, we’re planning on another day of light work and the gate test.”
