November 16, 2024 (Saturday)

<At Tokyo Racecourse>

Auguste Rodin (IRE)

- hand-walked about 30 min. (the international stables area)
- jogged 3 laps, walked 2 laps, cantered 4 laps left-handed with Hypnosis on the dirt exercise track around the international stables
(exercised from 6:40 to 6:55, ridden by Rachel Richardson)

“He did an extra furlong this morning and I’m very happy with him.
He’s eating and drinking well and is very relaxed. His weight is good.
Tomorrow he will do the same kind of canter and might add another furlong.”

Fantastic Moon (GER)

- hand-walked about 20 min. (the international stables area)
- jogged 8 laps, cantered 7 laps left-handed on the dirt exercise track around the international stables
(exercised from 6:17 to 6:37, ridden by Sarah Steinberg)

“The horse is healthy, eating well and drinking well and hasn’t lost much weight since leaving home.
His training this morning was about the same as yesterday but I asked him to do a faster canter and I’m happy with how it went.
Tomorrow, he’ll be doing the same work as today.”

Goliath (GER)
Le Nomade (IRE) (entered in the Capital Stakes)

- hand-walked about 30 min. (the international stables area)
- walked 1 lap, cantered 2 laps left-handed, cantered 3 laps right-handed on the dirt exercise track around the international stables
(exercised from 7:04 to 7:17, Goliath ridden by Dylan Lepere, Le Nomade by Anthony David)

“Both horses are doing very well and I’m happy with them. This morning, we hand-walked them and then did a light canter.
Goliath weighed 495kg and Le Nomade was 520kg. Both are about the same weight as when they left France.
Tomorrow’s training menu will be the same as today.
Le Nomade is older and has more experience so he’s more relaxed and has adapted to the new atmosphere.”

(comments taken from Anthony David)

“Goliath is in good condition but it might take him a bit more time than Le Nomade to adjust.”
