<At Tokyo Racecourse>
Weather: Fine
Going: Standard (dirt course)
- jogged 3 laps left-handed on the dirt exercise track around the international stables, jogged 1/2 lap, cantered 3/4 lap left-handed, walked 1/4 lap right-handed on dirt course
(exercised from 6:50 to 7:08, ridden by Rachel Richardson)
“He ran a mile this morning, a faster canter than yesterday, and Rachel said he felt very good and we’re happy with him. Basically, we try to do the same routine as back home wherever we go. Here, we increase the distance and tempo every day to tune him up.
Tomorrow, Rachel will ride him on the grass and do seven furlongs. It’ll probably be a strong canter rather than a gallop, but we’ll see.”

- jogged 6 laps right-handed on the dirt exercise track around the international stables, cantered 1-1/4 laps left-handed, walked 1/4 lap right-handed on dirt course
(exercised from 7:02 to 7:22, ridden by Sarah Steinberg)
“His condition is very good and he was fresh this morning—he looked excited.
We did the same kind of work as yesterday but a little stronger in the last 400 meters. Since I’ve given him a lot to do up to today, he’ll be given a lighter menu tomorrow.
He will not go out on the turf before the race, but the jockey will come and ride him on Thursday.
I’ve checked the turf after it rained, and the drainage was very good. He likes a firm track so I think he is suited to the Tokyo turf.”

- cantered 1-3/4 laps, walked 1/4 lap left-handed on the dirt course
(exercised from 7:03 to 7:15, Goliath ridden by Dylan Lepere, Le Nomade by Anthony David)
“We had him do a longer canter this morning. This is what we usually do and his movements were very good.
Le Nomade is in very good condition and he has been doing the same menu as Goliath.
The trainer will be here tomorrow and Christophe Soumillon will gallop him on the turf.”
