“We did a canter today and the horse is doing well.
I’ve never handled Goliath, who was sixth in last year’s Japan Cup, so it’s impossible to compare Calandagan with him, but I have a good feeling that Calandagan is suited to the turf and racing here in Japan.
I will talk with our trainer later and decide tomorrow’s workout menu, but I think it will be about the same as today.”
