Training Report of Foreign Entry
The 3rd Leg of Global Sprint Challenge
The 45th Running of the Takamatsunomiya Kinen (G1)

March 25, 2015 (Wednesday)

<At Chukyo Racecourse>

Weather: Fine
Going: Standard (dirt course)

Aerovelocity (NZ, G7, Bay)

- cantered 1,800m (dirt course)
(exercised from 6:57 to 7:05, ridden by Yaw Chong Chew)

“Today’s training was very good for us. We cantered him once around the track and the horse felt very good and fresh. Yesterday, he was a bit shy, but today he learned very quickly, he knew where to go in the track, where to change the legs...
He ate very well last night and we’re very happy with him.
Regarding the race, we hope to sit behind the pace and be among the front 2-3 horses. The dirt track feels good and the turf track seems good too with very wide spacing. The horse seems to love it. The uphill climb in the straight shouldn’t be a problem for him because he has a very strong turn of foot. I don’t think there will be any problem with the left-handed course either, as he has raced and won in New Zealand before and I think it’s in his memory. We plan to do some fast work tomorrow morning and the trainer will be here to look at him.”
