Training Report of Foreign Entry
the 49th Running of the Sprinters Stakes (G1)
- the 8th leg of the Global Sprint Challenge -

September 30, 2015 (Wednesday)

The following horse entered in the 49th Sprinters Stakes was transported to the Nakayama Racecourse, leaving the Horse Racing School quarantine facilities in Shiroi at 11:10 and arriving at the international stables at 11:55. Comments taken from the connections upon arrival are as follows:

Rich Tapestry (IRE, G7, bay)

“He’s very relaxed and has a great attitude, and is a good traveler. He went very well in the trials and the jockey was very pleased with the way he felt. He’s done enough prep-work in the trials and is fit for the race.

Tomorrow he’s scheduled to do an 800 meter gallop with the jockey in the saddle. But I don’t think he’s going to go that hard in the gallop—just going to get the feel of him since it’s his first time on the horse, and especially to take him out on the grass. The trainer will be here on Friday and we’ll try to keep him as fit as he is.”
