Rich Tapestry (IRE, G7, bay)

- jogged 1/4 lap, cantered 1 lap, walked ~ jogged 3/4 lap (dirt course)
(exercised from 7:19 to 7:32, ridden by Justine Clark)

“He pulled up from yesterday’s canter very well, he’s good and there are no problems. He didn’t mind the sloppy ground this morning but we were careful—I didn’t want anything to happen to him. It would be ideal if the turf is still moist on race day.”

“I came here directly from the airport this morning, and I see that the horse is quiet and relaxed as usual as he is at home, and that his coat is shining, which is a good sign—I’m very happy. I talked with the jockey on the phone and he seems quite satisfied too.
After the race in Singapore in May, the owner wanted to try the horse one more time on the turf. That’s when we decided to put our entry in for the Sprinters Stakes.
He always jumps fast, has good speed and likes to sit behind the leader. Logically anyone would prefer an inside stall, and so I’m happy with stall No.1. I’ll leave the rest up to Christophe who knows much more about Japanese racing than I do. ”
