Training Report of Foreign Entry
The 66th Running of the Yasuda Kinen (G1)

May 30, 2016 (Monday)

The following horse entered in the 66th Yasuda Kinen was transported to the Tokyo Racecourse, leaving the Horse Racing School quarantine facilities in Shiroi at 11:05 and arriving at the international stables at 12:48. Comments taken from the connections upon arrival are as follows:

Contentment (AUS, G6, Chestnut)

“The transportation from the quarantine stables went well without any problems.
He weighed 512kg after arriving here in Japan, which means he needs to put back on a few more kilos, but he’s doing very well so far. He did a 600-meter gallop this morning at Shiroi and he will gallop again on Thursday here at the racecourse.
I’m not sure if the jockey will ride the horse besides the race but our trainer Mr. (John) Size will arrive in Tokyo tomorrow afternoon and will probably decide.
His training menu will be more or less the same as in Shiroi and we will work him at the exercise arena inside the race track in the afternoons unless Mr. Size decides otherwise.”
