Benoist, Berry, Demuro and Vargiu receive short-term JRA Jockey's Licenses
The Japan Racing Association (JRA) has announced that short-term riding jockey licenses have been issued to four foreign jockeys.
France-based Belgian jockey Gregory Benoist has received a short-term riding license, effective from January 4 to February 3, 2015. He will be primarily riding for host trainer, Kazuo Fujisawa, from the JRA Miho Training Center, and Owner, Hidetoshi Yamamoto.
Francis Berry from Ireland has received his short-term riding license, effective from January 4 to February 24, 2015. He will be primarily riding for Owner, Kazuko Yoshida and host trainer, Noriyuki Hori, from JRA Miho Training Center.
Italian jockey Cristian Demuro (younger brother of Mirco Demuro) has received a short-term riding license, effective from January 4 to March 1, 2015. He will be primarily riding for host trainer, Katsuhiko Sumii, from the JRA Ritto Training Center, and Owner, Chizu Yoshida.
Dario Vargiu from Italy has received his short-term riding license, effective from January 4 to 25, 2015. He will be primarily riding for Owner, Masashi Yoshida and host trainer, Mitsumasa Nakauchida, from JRA Ritto Training Center.
