COVID-19 News Update: JRA's support for countermeasures against COVID-19 (donation from turnover on JRA Anniversary Day)
On Sept. 7, the Japan Racing Association announced the financial contribution to support countermeasures for COVID-19 that was allocated from the turnover on Takarazuka Kinen (G1) Day. Furthermore, we would like to announce that an additional 3 billion yen has been allocated from the sales of betting tickets on Sept. 21, the JRA Anniversary Day, and donated to the healthcare organizations listed below.
Added to the support measures announced so far are those listed below under “Additional donations.”

Additional donations
JRA will donate 820 million yen to the municipalities where racetracks, training centers and WINS are located.
In addition, JRA Facilities Co., Ltd. will donate 158 million yen to healthcare providers in the vicinity of its workplaces and 37 million yen will be donated to the municipalities in which its workplaces are located.
