Dario Vargiu receives short-term JRA Jockey's License
The Japan Racing Association (JRA) announced that a short-term riding jockey's license will be issued to Italian jockey, Dario Vargiu.
This short-term riding license is effective from January 30 to March 27, 2016.
Varju, 39, will be primarily riding for owner, Ryosuke Fujii, and Varju’s host trainer, Mitsumasa Nakauchida, of JRA Ritto Training Center.
Varju, who rode in Japan under a short-term license twice last year, has a combined record of 90 wins, including 4 graded races, from 1,191 rides.
