Tommy Berry receives short-term JRA Jockey's License

The Japan Racing Association (JRA) announced that a short-term riding jockey's license will be issued to Australian jockey, Tommy Berry.

This short-term riding license is effective from March 16 to June 5, 2016.

Berry, 25, will be primarily riding for owner, Takaya Shimakawa, and Berry’s host trainer, Yukihiro Kato of JRA Miho Training Center.

Berry, who rode in Japan under a short-term license last year, has a combined record of 6 wins from 72 rides in JRA races.
