COVID-19 News Update: No admission to racecourses from April 25; WINS partially closed

In continuing measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, JRA races will be held without spectators from April 25 (Sun) until May 9 (Sun) at Tokyo Racecourse and from April 25 (Sun) to May 2 (Sun) at Hanshin Racecourse. In addition, there will be no betting ticket sales and payouts available at the following Park WINS, WINS, Light WINS, EXCEL and J-PLACE betting facilities.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding.

For those persons who have already purchased reserved-seat tickets to the racecourses, please see the JRA Web site for information on refunds.

Operations at other racecourses, WINS etc. will continue.

Please be aware that changing conditions may lead to changes in the above.

Changes in JRA racing from April (Sun) 25 to May 9 (Sun)

Racecourses
Tokyo Racecourse, Hanshin Racecourse: The public will not be admitted to either racecourse. Races will be held as non-spectator events. This applies until May 9 (Sun) at Tokyo Racecourse, until May 2 (Sun) at Hanshin Racecourse.

WINS and other betting facilities
No betting tickets will be sold and no payouts made at the following.

WINS: Ginza, Korakuen, Kinshicho, Asakusa, Shiodome, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tachikawa, Kawasaki, Yokohama, Shin-Yokohama, Urawa, Kyoto, Namba, Dotombori, Umeda, Kobe, Himeji
Light WINS: Ami, Rinku Town
EXCEL: Ibaraki-Sakaimachi, Tanashi, Isezaki
J-PLACE: Oi, Funabashi, Narita, Kisarazu, Yokawa
Park WINS: Nakayama Racecourse, Kyoto Racecourse, Hanshin Racecourse (May 8 and 9)

Note: Weekday payout services will also be suspended at the above racecourses and betting facilities during this period.
