The following horses entered in the 36th Japan Cup were transported from the Horse Racing School quarantine facilities in Shiroi to the international stables at the Tokyo Racecourse.  Each departure and arrival time as well as comments taken from the connections upon arrival are as follows:

<At Tokyo Racecourse>

Erupt (IRE, C4, by bay)

Departed quarantine stables at 11:40
Arrived at Tokyo Racecourse at 13:28

“The trip over from Shiroi quarantine to Tokyo Racecourse went smoothly and he is in good condition.
His weight is also nearing 525 kg, which is his best weight.
Tomorrow, he will do his normal work on dirt, and then on Thursday, he will canter about 2,000 meters on turf with a fast finish in the last 500m.
His trainer is due to come here Thursday morning.”

Iquitos (GER, C4, bay)

Departed quarantine stables at 12:20
Arrived at Tokyo Racecourse at 14:03

“There were no problems with the transportation from Shiroi today.
Tomorrow he will canter on the dirt track, and regarding his gallop, the trainer will decide after he arrives tomorrow.”

Nightflower (IRE, F4, chestnut)

Departed quarantine stables at 12:20
Arrived at Tokyo Racecourse at 14:03

"We plan on cantering her on the dirt tomorrow but since she did some strong work this morning, we're not sure whether she is going to do anymore fast work before the race. It will be up to the trainer who will decide after he arrives in Japan."
