Weather: Fine
Going: Standard (dirt course)

Capri (IRE, C4, Gray)

- jogged 6 min. in exercise arena, walked 1/4 lap, jogged 1/4 lap, cantered 3/4 lap (dirt course)
(exercised from 6:34 to 6:58, ridden by Kevin Tobin)

“I was very happy with him this morning, he was moving very well, and all is good for tomorrow.
He’s a very relaxed horse and the crowd probably won’t bother.
He’ll only be hand-walked in the stable area tomorrow morning.”

Thundering Blue (USA, G5, Gray)

- walked and jogged 15 min. in exercise arena, jogged 1/4 lap, cantered 1 lap (dirt course)
(exercised from 6:34 to 7:03, ridden by Kim Johnstone)

“We realized we had an exceptional horse when he won the York Stakes and ran so well in the International Stakes after that as an outsider. I then agreed to Francis and David’s suggestion to take him to the Stockholm Cup International, Canadian International and then to the Japan Cup because David is meticulous in the way he plans. It’s such a privilege to be here, I’m so excited and just hope my horse will run a good race.”

(comments taken from Clive Washbourn)

“This morning, he just stretched his legs, schooled the paddock and he’s super.
We’ll just hand-walk him around the stables tomorrow morning.”
