“Today’s exercise was just a recognition, to check and recognize the track, which I’m pretty happy with—he went straight to the track.

The dirt track here seems to be just a little deeper but pretty close to the track at the quarantine.

The horse was happy and handled the track really good. American horses aren’t used to the slope so it was good for him to experience it.

After the Breeders’ Cup, we kept the horse in Kentucky instead of taking him home because it was a long travel back to California and we knew that we were going to bring him here.

Tomorrow’s exercise will be a little more gallop, a little more severe than today.”
