<At Tokyo Racecourse>

Weather: Cloudy
Going: Standard (dirt course)

Contentment (AUS, G6, Chestnut)

(exercised from 7:54 AM to 8:15 AM, ridden by Sing Hon Pang)

“Yesterday afternoon when I saw him for the first time since he’d left Hong Kong, he was very quiet as he always is, but this morning he was very bright and keen to go outside. Appetite-wise, this morning was the best since he’s been in Japan, although we still hope he regains some more weight that he’s lost. But I’m happy to see that he’s improving and am happy to see how he worked this morning.
We’ve been using a pacifier since his debut because he’s shy and looks around. He won that race and he’s been doing well with it since, so I find no reason to change that—that’s all.
As scheduled, tomorrow we’ll gallop him 600m in about 42 seconds on the dirt—nothing strong but just to get him familiar with the track.”
