The following horse entered in the Yasuda Kinen was transported to Tokyo Racecourse, leaving the Horse Racing School quarantine facilities in Shiroi at 11:21 and arriving at the international stables at 13:14. Comments taken from the connections upon arrival are as follows:

Western Express (AUS, G6, Chestnut)

“He’s a good traveler and has settled in well, he’s enjoying Japan. He’s eating well, gaining weight and feels normal in his training.

“We did an easy gallop on Friday and this morning at the quarantine center. He’ll probably do one more gallop here in Tokyo. The trainer, Mr. Size, will decide after he arrives tomorrow afternoon.

“We plan to do the normal daily exercise, trotting and cantering, tomorrow morning.”
