<At Chukyo Racecourse>

Weather: Rainy
Going: Standard (dirt course)

Gun Pit (AUS, G5, bay)

- jogged 1,400m, cantered 900m, galloped 800m, cantered 800m, walked 700m (dirt course)
(exercised from 6:40 to 6:58, ridden by Danny Suen)

“He galloped over 800 meters today and he felt very good.
His training here is very much the same as what we do back home in Hong Kong.
The all-weather surface at Sha Tin is different to the dirt tracks at Chukyo which has a little deeper footing, but he seems to like it.
The uphill and the extra distance shouldn’t be any problem for this gelding and if he does well in the race, it will open doors to further international challenges such as the Dubai World Cup, as his rating is so high that there is no suitable race in Hong Kong which is another reason we have come here for the Champions Cup.”
