Beauty Only (IRE, G6, Bay)

- jogged 1/4 lap, cantered 1 lap on dirt course

“He was much better this morning than yesterday, more settled. This horse is a very tough horse, after every race it only takes a few days for him to recover his energy so he’s easy to train and even though we’re at the end of the season, I’m not worried about his condition.
He galloped twice at Shiroi and turned smoothly at the corners so it looks like he can handle the left-handed course very well.
Our trainer will make the final decision but as for now, we are planning to gallop him on the turf tomorrow.”

Contentment (AUS, G7, Chestnut)

- jogged 8 min. in exercise arena, jogged 1/4 lap and cantered 1-3/4 laps on dirt course
(exercised from 7:50 AM to 8:12 AM, ridden by Sing Hon Pang)

“Even though he didn’t run very well in last year’s race, the previous experience should help him—the fact that he’s been here before is one of the reasons of bringing him.
Compared to last year, he looks a little bit stronger when he’s training so that’s encouraging.
I checked the turf this morning and it seems fine. We intend to bring him out on the turf tomorrow but we’ll see after it rains.”
