<At Tokyo Racecourse>

Guignol (GER, H5, dark bay or brown)

Departed quarantine stables at 11:38
Arrived at Tokyo Racecourse at 13:17

“The horse was a bit tense when leaving the quarantine facilities, but calmed down once we were on our way and his good condition is good.
“Tomorrow, he’ll do some easy work and, at the same time, we’ll let him look around and get used to the atmosphere here.”

(comments taken from assistant trainer Michael Cadeddu)

Iquitos (GER, H5, bay)

Departed quarantine stables at 11:38
Arrived at Tokyo Racecourse at 13:17

“He was a bit nervous in the beginning of the trip from the quarantine center but calmed down soon and everything went well.
“Tomorrow we’ll let him get accustomed to his new surroundings and give him only some light work to do.”

(comments taken from assistant trainer Janina Reese)

Boom Time (AUS, H6, bay)

Departed quarantine stables at 11:15
Arrived at Tokyo Racecourse at 12:57

“His condition has been very good since he came to Japan and everyday he’s getting better, he’s back to his old self now. He’s used to travelling long distance and the two-hour ride from the quarantine center was no problem for him – he does that pretty easy in Melbourne too.
“He’ll do some strong work on the turf course tomorrow.”

(comments taken from assistant trainer Gary Fennessy)
