November 6, 2022 (Sunday)
<At Hanshin Racecourse>
Weather: Fine
Going: Standard (dirt course)
Magical Lagoon (IRE, F3, bay)
- jogged 2,100m, cantered 2,400m on dirt course (right-handed)
(exercised from 5:55 AM to 6:12 AM, ridden by Zara Caitlyn Nelson)
“We did a slightly stronger work this morning. She was really really good and clear, and we couldn’t be happier with her. She jogged a lap, did a little hack to warm up, stopped and jumped off at a stronger canter, and then just did a little bit stronger today. We’ll keep on building her up each day. She went to the paddock today as well and walked around, and she was really good and relaxed. After the exercise, we weighed her at the saddling area. It’s good for her to see all the different bits and pieces to get her used to everything. Her weight is near her racing weight. She’s where we want her to be. We’ll decide when I see her tomorrow morning and talk to my mother, but we might to a strong or longer work or do the same as today.”
