“The horse is no different from when he was in Hong Kong. Morning training went very good and I’m happy with him. I just heard that his draw is no.10, which was a bit wider than we hoped for and with the Japanese horses with the better draws having a better chance, we will think about the tactics now.
Tomorrow morning he will do a slower canter on the dirt track.”

“The horse’s movements were good, he’s chilled, and I think working on the grass four days in a row has let him get used to the track. As our trainer said, the draw is a little bit wide, but we’ll see on Saturday and Sunday what the racecourse is like from behind or middle or forward—we’ll try to plan out later discussing it with the trainer and owner.”
