“The horse is in very good condition. The environment at Hanshin Racecourse is similar to that in Hong Kong, and he seems to have settled in well. The surface here is a bit deeper than in Hong Kong, and there is an uphill climb in the straight, but he handled it well when he galloped today, and the rain is no problem for him.

He’s normally gentle and calm, but when it comes to racing, he shows a great burst of speed. We decided to come early and run in the Centaur Stakes so that he can get used to racing in Japan before taking on the G1 Sprinters Stakes. We hope that he will be able to win both races.

Number 8 is considered a lucky number in Hong Kong, so I’m happy to have drawn that number. I didn’t want an outside draw, so this is a good draw for us. We will decide on our race strategy based on various factors, including the track conditions on the race day.”
