Docklands (GB, H5)

Docklands did not go out to the track this morning.

“It was a long trip from the quarantine facilities to Kyoto Racecourse, about 11 hours, as we had quite a lot of traffic. The traffic was stop-start at the beginning but he got into it and handled it well once we got going. He settled in very quickly after we arrived here and we’re happy with him.

Because it took so long to get here yesterday, he just had an easy day today, just walked around and outside the stables. He had a little look around and seemed happy. We’ll go on the track from tomorrow. He will probably canter Tuesday and Wednesday, gallop Thursday and canter Friday and Saturday. Michael Vokins will be riding him.”
