1. Owner Registration

- *(a), (b), and (c) are necessary only for the Owners making registration for the first time after 1 January 1999. Once registered, this registration is valid throughout the period the Owner is registered as a JRA Owner, and the payment is necessary only once.
Payment of (a)~(d) must be remitted by noon, Friday, one week prior to the race day, Japan time. Please be sure that payment is made in Japanese yen. All bank charges and commissions (including paying bank charges) are to be paid by the Owner.

The name of the Horse and the race must be included in the message section of the foreign remittance application to facilitate JRA verification of the sender.
2. Owner’s Name
The JRA Rules of Racing allow only the name of ONE Owner per Horse as the registered name.
3. Owner Registration Change
In case of a change in the Owner Registration of a participating Horse, both the new and previous Owners must report to the JRA no later than the day prior to the Declaration to Run, accompanied by documentary evidence such as an Owner Registration Registration Certificate issued by the Horse racing authority of the country represented, or the sales contract.
Once a Horse has been drawn for a race, there shall be no transfer nor assignment of any Owner Registration interest in such Horse until after the race, or until such Horse is scratched, whichever occurs first.
